Online privacy questionnaire for stakeholders in e-ticketing in public transport

Following the findings that present interoperability is built on national schemes and that European standardisation has nevertheless produced important standards, UITP focus paper “Everybody local everywhere” project partners think necessary to elaborate agreements on possible developments with the goal of common political objectives to serve citizens and public transport organisations and propose technical and organisational steps towards increased interoperability and fare integration. Recommendations from the project shall be shared with a wider community of beneficiaries in Europe through the IFM Forum organised by UITP.

 

The University of Paris X is leader of a task called the IFM privacy model work package, which requires through the following questionnaire your support of e-ticketing specialist in order to prepare a state of the art of European laws regarding personal data protection in each Member State for e-ticketing in public transport. with a differentiation between data types, access conditions, uses and exchanges.

The results will be made available on line when completed by a sufficient number of participants.

 

It refers to ISO 24014 standards and to the European recommendations adopted at the 42nd meeting, 4-5 September 2007, Berlin about E-Ticketing in Public Transport.

 

Please refer before answering the questionnaire to the extracts of these documents given in annex 1 and 2, and to the specific definitions of words used in the questionnaire in annex 3.
